There are artists who play. They never seem to be serious and make lightness a stylistic code.
Daniele’s works are mostly site specific, designed for a place and difficult to adapt elsewhere. If they are replicated, they are always modified to adapt to the new environment. The surrounding space, in fact, is not only the scenography of the work but it is also its co-protagonist, an essential referent and often the starting point for the story. Every work is born with a precise thought, destined to open a reflection on a topic of interest for the place where the action will take place. The show of the projection is the culmination of something deeper and more thoughtful, that wants and manages to teach something. Always with a smile, of course. That’s all we need.
